titleWhat is eNVD?

eNVD stands for electronic National Vendor Declaration. The Livestock Production Assurance NVD communicates the food safety and treatment status of every animal every time it moves – between properties, to saleyards, or to processors. The NVD also acts as movement documentation throughout the value chain.

NVDs are a legal document that are key to Australian red meat’s traceability and market access. It is crucial that you fill out the NVD accurately, when you tick a box or answer a question on your LPA NVD, you are declaring your on-farm practices meet LPA requirements, and ultimately customer expectations.

Your tick must be backed up by accurate farm records. This is your pledge that the meat from your farm has been produced safely, ethically and meets biosecurity requirements– it means you stand by what you sell.

eNVD is the digital process for assuring and moving livestock. It is a fast and easy way for users to complete livestock consignments and maintain LPA records. The system will be continuously improved to create better experiences for users and add value to our industry’s integrity.

Movement information

Find a destination PIC

One of the key advantages of eNVD is being able to send information to the the consignee or another pariticpant before the livestock arrive at their destination. To ensure this information is sent to the correct consignee, you are able to select a destination PIC.

We are working hard to improve the PIC search in eNVD so you’re able to easily find the destination. If your unable to find what you’re looking for or you are unsure, please contact the consignee.

For ease of use, your recently used destination PICs will appear at the top of the list for your next consignment.

That way you’re answering the same types of questions at once.

Info

If you’re unsure why a question is appearing, the ? pop-up next to each question tells you which form the question has come from

Until we have a complete offline solution, your transporter can fill this in by:

  • Handing them your mobile device

  • Leaving this section blank and entering manually in printed copies

  • Filling in yourself (if you’re the transporter)

You can add multiple transporters to the once consignment.

Info

Transporter information can be updated after the consignment is submitted

Submit

Once you completed the movement information, species, forms and declaration sections you can submit and / or print your consignment at any time.

You can still update the movement date, livestock description and transporter sections once your consignment is SUBMITTED.

The consignment will be automatically updated to COMPLETED 48 hours after the movement date.

Info

You can only print submitted consignments (selecting print automatically submits the consignment). Ensure you’ve entered as much information as you can before you submit a consignment.
